Ingredients

Glucosamine:

Glucosamine occurs naturally in our bodies and constitute a good proportion of our bony matrix and cartilages.. We tend to produce less of it as we age and therefore supplementing with daily glucosamine has been shown effective in maintaining healthy joint cartilage.

Chondroitin:

Chondroitin is a major constituent of healthy cartilage and helps in providing the joint the much required shock absorbing capacity and resilience. Taking chondroitin combined with glucosamine has shown to improve joint function and mobility.

Vitamin D:

Recent research indicates that vitamin D is essential for a number of cellular activities and most people don't get enough due to dietary deficiencies and life styles. Vitamin D is crucial for effective metabolism of calcium and in the deficient states; bones and joints are severely affected. New studies have also ascertained the protective role of vitamin D against development of certain forms of arthritis.

Green Tea Extract:

Green tea extract has powerful antioxidants that may help your cartilage stay healthy. We use a green tea extract that is high in a key ingredient called EGCG to ensure you get the health benefits of green tea extract.

Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is essential for joint health. It is a powerful antioxidant that is a key to healthy cartilage, tendons and ligaments. In addition to reducing inflammation, vitamin C also helps form collagen, the protein "glue" that holds cells together. Collagen is especially important in connective tissue to insure healthy ligaments, cartilage, tendons and the joints themselves. Without enough vitamin C collagen cannot be properly made. Abnormalities in this protein (collagen) are basic causative factor to the crippling deformities associated with various forms of arthritis and other joints ailments. By virtue of its antioxidant properties, Vitamin C prevents free radical mediated joint damage effectively.

Research indicates that one should take a minimum of 1,500 mg of glucosamine daily for joint health. That's why about 1,500 mg of glucosamine has been included in every serving of Joint Juice product. While there is no best time of day to take Joint Juice products it is believed that making it part of your daily routine will be most beneficial for a large number of joint pain sufferers. The makers of Joint Juice claim that, in relatively healthy people with no significant co-morbidities, there is improved joint function and flexibility in 4 to 8 weeks after beginning to drink Joint Juice. However, the claims are not based on any apparent clinical studies nor have they been evaluated by the FDA regarding the claims about its efficacy and potency.
